Thai police arrested the huge counterfeit stock of passports

In May 2008 Thai police seize almost 30,000 fake passports and arrest 12 Burmese people who conspired to do crime.
The evidence shown that more than 40 different countries of passport were made by these gang, while the leader who also be a Burmese got arrest on the same time. Police also found some weapon, drugs and metal plates for making passport.
This counterfeit gang is the largest arrest that the police ever have the case before.
The leader of the gang is also involved with the arms smuggling to some terrorist groups such as LTTE. |
